Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data CoreRipper collects when you use our tools, blog, news feed, hardware content, and paid plans, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It works alongside our Terms and Conditions and Cookie Policy.

1. Information we collect

What we collect depends on how you use the site:

• Account data email address, password (hashed, never stored in plain text), and profile preferences you set (e.g. preferred AI model, notification settings).
• Billing data plan tier, payment method type, and transaction records. Card and mobile money details are handled by our payment gateway (Lenco); we never see or store your full card number.
• Tool usage the inputs you submit to a tool (e.g. a domain for a DNS lookup, text for an AI tool) and the results returned, so paid features like the Workbench can save and show you your own history.
• Device and log data IP address, browser type, and timestamps, used for guest-trial rate limiting, fraud prevention, and diagnosing errors.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the tool, feature, or content you requested.
• To operate accounts, subscriptions, and the Sonnet-5 credit wallet, including billing and receipts.
• To enforce guest/free-tier limits and paid-plan entitlements fairly across users.
• To send transactional email (verification codes, password resets, receipts, renewal notices) and, if you've opted in, the weekly blog/news roundup.
• To monitor for abuse of network/security tools and to keep the service reliable and secure.

3. AI tools and your data

When you use a Sonnet-5-powered AI tool, your input is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response; free-tier AI tools may instead route to Groq or Gemini. We don't use your tool inputs or outputs to train any model, ours or a third party's. Request/response content is retained only as long as needed to show you your own history (e.g. the Workbench stream) and for abuse investigation, and is never sold.

4. Who we share data with

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run CoreRipper, each bound to use it only for that purpose:

• Anthropic, Groq, and Google (Gemini) to generate AI tool responses.
• Lenco to process mobile money and card payments.
• Our email provider to send verification, receipt, and notification emails.
• WhatsApp (via our own bot integration) only if you explicitly enable WhatsApp alerts on a monitor.

We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect the security of the site and its users.

5. Data retention

Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from Settings, your profile, saved Workbench data, and billing history tied to you are permanently removed, except where we're required to keep transaction records for legal or accounting purposes. Guest-trial and rate-limit data is keyed to your IP and expires automatically.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. Authentication uses expiring bearer tokens rather than long-lived sessions, with automatic idle timeout and sign-out when a session with no "Remember me" survives a browser close. Payment amounts are server-resolved and never taken from the client. No system is perfectly secure, but we design account and billing flows around minimizing what could go wrong.

7. Your rights and choices

• Access or update your profile and notification preferences anytime from Settings.
• Delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings this is permanent.
• Control non-essential cookies (personalization, analytics, advertising) via the cookie banner or by reopening it from the Cookie Policy page.
• Unsubscribe from the newsletter via the link in any roundup email, or by toggling it off in Settings.

8. Children's privacy

CoreRipper isn't directed at children, and you must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to create an account. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as CoreRipper's features change. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
